That’s the standard Dale Kessler built TruePane around in 2008, and it hasn’t changed. We don’t rush the job to make the schedule work. We build the schedule so the job can be done right. TruePane is part of the Keystone family of companies. We hire local, we train people up from apprentice to lead, and we plan to be in every community we serve for a very long time. Who We’re Looking For
- Window and Door Installers – Someone who measures twice, cares about a level line, and doesn’t treat a homeowner’s house like a production site.
- Lead Technicians – An experienced installer ready to run a crew, own the job from measure to warranty registration, and bring newer people along correctly.
- Apprentice Glaziers – Someone with good hands, a willingness to learn, and enough patience to do the un-glamorous parts of the trade without cutting corners on them.
- Impact and Specialty Product Installers – A technician who understands the added stakes of impact-rated systems and takes code compliance as seriously as we do.
- Customer Service Representatives – A person who can answer a call, actually listen, give a straight answer, and make a homeowner feel like they reached someone who’ll follow through.
- Dispatchers and Schedulers – Someone organized enough to keep multiple crews coordinated across local jobs and steady enough not to let a full calendar become someone else’s problem.

Real Training and a Real Path
We don’t hand you a manual and wish you luck. TruePane trains apprentices the way the trade is supposed to work – side by side with journeymen who know why the steps exist, not just what they are. If you do the work and absorb the craft, there’s a path here. Lead technician, trainer, project lead – the people in those roles came up through crews just like the one you’d be joining.

Steady, Year-Round Demand
Windows and doors don’t have an off-season. Homeowners need replacements in January and installations in August, and TruePane operates accordingly. This isn’t seasonal work tied to one housing cycle or one product category. The range of what we install – energy-efficient windows, impact systems, sliding and patio doors, glass railing, custom units – means the work stays consistent and the skills you build stay relevant.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve spent time in general construction, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, tile work, or any trade that required you to fit something precisely into a fixed opening, you’re closer to this work than you think. The fundamental skills transfer: reading a space accurately, working cleanly in someone’s home, and caring whether the result is true. What we’ll teach you is the product knowledge, the installation sequence, the manufacturer specs, and the warranty process – all of it specific to windows and doors.
The first months look like this: you’re on a crew with experienced installers, watching and doing, asking questions, and building the muscle memory that makes a good technician. We don’t put new people on jobs alone before they’re ready, and we don’t consider you fully trained until the lead says so. It takes longer that way. It’s worth it.
