Free in-home measure and quote - PGT, CGI and CWS impact lines compared on your actual openings, style by style
Every warranty in this industry sounds impressive in a headline. The difference is what’s written down. TruePane Windows & Doors puts both layers of your coverage - the product and the labor - in writing on the quote, with the durations stated, before you commit to anything.
Layer 1: The Manufacturer’s Product Warranty
Every window and door we install carries its manufacturer’s written warranty on frames, hardware and insulated glass - including seal failure (the fogging between panes that means the insulation value is gone). Durations vary by product line and are printed on your quote for the exact units you choose, so you can compare lines on coverage, not just price.
Layer 2: Our Labor Warranty
The best unit fails if it’s installed out of square or sealed wrong. Our own installation crews warranty their workmanship - flashing, anchoring, insulation, sealing and finish - in writing, with the duration stated on your contract. If an install defect appears inside the labor-warranty period, we fix it at no cost. No blame-the-manufacturer routine.
What That Means in Practice
- Both warranty durations printed on the quote - before you sign
- Seal-failure (foggy glass) coverage under the manufacturer layer
- Workmanship defects fixed at no cost under our labor layer
- Warranty registration completed and documented before we leave the job
- One phone number for any warranty question: (888) 635-0804
Coverage That Goes Beyond the Basics
On qualifying manufacturer lines - the coverage schedule is stated on your quote - protection extends to the failures homeowners actually worry about:
- Accidental glass breakage - everyday accidents, not just defects
- Hurricane glass breakage - coverage that holds when the product does its job in a storm
- Delamination - the laminated interlayer separating from the glass
- Labor and materials - both layers, together, in writing
Transferable Protection
Selling your home? Your warranty coverage is transferable to the new owner (conditions and registration windows vary by line - we include the transfer terms with your closing documents), and documented transferable protection on new windows and doors is a genuine listing asset.
